This rating includes all prior books. I am a Christian but tend to dislike Christian fiction. These books are one of the exceptions. They are fabulous. I couldn't put them down and you can imagine my dismay to find there are more books to the series as yet unreleased. Please write quickly! These books are tightly drawn, suspenseful, well plotted and imaginative. I highly recommend them.Product details

Pretty intense fantastic journey, unbelievable, and yet believable. It was long and enjoyable, and the question if people who never heard the truth of Jesus would automatically die, was a good question. No, they will have an opportunity to hear His word, otherwise God"s name would not be Merciful, Wonderful Counselor, and so much more.
This series has been so entertaining and interesting. I hope there are more books coming. It is so rare to find Christian sci-fi/fantasy. Thank you for the time you've put into these books!
I found the concept of this book fascinating. When God raised Lazarus from the dead he gave him "eternal" life until he served an unknown purpose. Eli spends the centuries travelling the world, sometimes with companions but often alone. Of all his companions my favourite was Gifu, who takes the form of an owl. As he witness strife and disaster, great plagues and world wars he comes to realise the mysterious "Them" are behind it all. Their desire is to rid the world of mankind and when direct action fails they manipulate situations and create atmospheres of mistrust, breeding grounds for unrest.
Well researched, the story weaves around historical events, giving alternative explanations. Well-written and thought provoking.
The different points of view per book in this series of books is wonderful, and this one is no different! Very descriptive and makes the reader lose him or herself in the story; until they smash against the large number of grammatical errors in this book. Manor/manner, alright/all right, spelling and multiple punctuation errors distracted from the material. Too bad.
Captivating story, can't wait for the next book in the series!
